Shopping Addiction

Good afternoon, poppets!! How is everyone doing today? Hopefully 2012 is treating you well! If I was one of those people who made New Year's resolutions, I would probably be listing them off right about now. But I think resolutions always end up being broken, so why bother even making them? Instead, I will entertain you with the details of my day! So much more interesting, right? :)

Today I was happy to get back to my regular routine of winter break (wake up, gym, get ready, lunch, festivities). It also felt good to get a decent amount of sleep last night. I dragged my butt slowly made my way to the gym around 10:30, only to find it packed! I guess everyone's getting all pumped about their resolutions to stay healthy and all (just another one that will end up broken for most people, sadly). We'll see how packed it is in a month! I probably should have thought about that little detail, but no worries! I had a fantastic 45 minute sweat sesh on the elliptical followed by another 45 minute even sweatier sesh running on the treadmill. I did just a few quick arm and leg machines since my body is still sore from 30 Day Shred before calling it a day.

After skedaddling home, I made a quick lunch and then headed out for a shopping day with mi madre and my little sister! We both had gift cards to Marshall's, so we went there first. I think I have a serious shopping addiction problem...as in I always want to buy everything in the store. I tried on 11 pieces of clothing and I wanted all of them! I had serious problems choosing only the pieces I really wanted. And it's not like I don't have any clothes or haven't been shopping in awhile...we just went shopping when we were in Illinois. At this rate I might just have to start a Shopping Addicts Anonymous....However! I did get some fantastic finds today! Here's the round-up:

Yes, this glamorous photoshoot was taken in my room, on my bed. I'm classy :) Anyway, I got this lace cardigan, some awesome running leggings, a nautical looking tank, and a super comfy long sleeved shirt. I should probably stop buying so many clothes...who am I kidding, though. I love shopping wayyy too much to stop!

After crying over how I am officially poor buying these wonderful items, we made a stop at the ever classy Target for some groceries. I got some goods for myself, as well, and then madre treated us to this:

Da 'Bucks!
Coffee was much needed today, considering it was actually cold today. I have loved this unusually warm winter, but it's nice to actually feel in-season again. I enjoyed my coffee with nonfat milk and cinnamon while Facebooking and blog stalking reading. Oh! And another exciting thing...I finished my scarf!

Woot!
I'm such a model :) I'm really happy with how my scarf turned out and I'm pretty sure I'll tackle my next knitting project soon. I'm thinkin' I'll make one of these...
