Shenanigans x3

Why hello there! Was today splendid for you? I sure hope so! Today was busy, busy, busy for me. I went to bed last night, thinking it was nice that I had no obligations today. But then I remembered how I still needed to get my best friend another part of her Christmas present (I know, I'm a little late with that but she forgives me!), use my Bed Bath and Beyond gift card, and browse Goodwill to see if they had anything I wanted (and, yes, I do shop at Goodwill sometimes!!). All before I went to dinner with my girlies at 7. Eeeek. So much for having nothing to do! But before we dive into today's festivities, how 'bout a little recap of last night?

Cleaning and an Impromptu Date

What up party people??? How's Tuesday treatin' you so far? Still keeping up with those New Year's resolutions? :) I have basically done a whole lot of nothing today. But hey, I'm on vacation, right?? And, yes, I am definitely milking this whole "winter break" thing for all it's worth! My days of being lazy and having no obligations are limited, so I have to live them up! At least that's my thinking behind my slothfulness, hehe.

On the Road Again

I hope everyone had a fantastically merry Christmas, and I hope Santa brought you everything you wanted!! I definitely felt blessed yesterday as I realized how many good things I have in my life. I have the most amazing family, the funniest, most incredible friends, and a loving, supportive boyfriend. When you stop and take a minute to reflect on your life and focus on what you do have instead of what you don't have, you'll see how fortunate you are and realize that not one moment of life should be taken for granted :)
